School Life First Meeting of Junior School Students' Council

There was great excitement in the Junior School a couple of weeks ago as the children learnt about the democratic process as they voted in a secret ballot to vote for class representatives for the first Junior School Student’s Council.

Pupils in both the Junior and Senior Schools brought in basic items to donate to a local charity.This not only helps people who are less fortunate but reminds the children that Christmas is about giving to others.

Dr Chiara Lastoria, an expert in High Energy Physics, who works at CIEMAT and CERN, came to talk to our Year 12 and some Year 11 physicists about Particle Physics, focusing in a very special particle, the neutrino.
