Mr Crumpton and Ms Clague took some A Level students on a Drama and Theatre excursion this week.
First stop was a tour of the Ancient Greece Exhibition at the Archeological Museum to explore the socio-historical context of the play they are currently studying, Antigone. Having obtained some fresh and inspired production ideas, we headed towards the nest stop, Teatro Marquina, to see an exciting production of El curioso incidente del perro a medianoche.
This fascinating story was presented in a way that surpassed expectations with its innovative use of lighting, sound and narrative perspective. We are sure the students will very much enjoy writing about it in their final exams.
