The Year 13 English Literature class was recently treated to a thrilling seminar.
They had the unique opportunity to meet (via Zoom) one of Britain’s most important contemporary novelists, Sarah Waters, and to talk about her work with her.
The class has been studying Waters' novel The Little Stranger as part of their A Level course. Waters does not make a habit of events in schools but, as a friend of Ms Parry's, she happily took part in the event.
For the whole class, it was an unforgettable experience, and we can only thank Sarah once again for giving of her time so generously.
