Still immersed in our 50th anniversary celebrations Runnymede is also excited about the future. In the spring of 2016 we organised an architects’ competition and chose the project designed by Rojo&Fernandez-Shaw. After having taken possession of the adjacent premises in Salvia 40, Runnymede will be developing its new campus over the coming years. Our objective is to provide our pupils with the best possible academic and sporting facilities.

Phase I of our campus project was completed during the summer of 2017 with the construction of a new multiple use 100m2 hall and a 130m2 extension to the foundation stage playground. Our pupils are also making use of a new study area and sports pitch in the new Salvia 40 premises.

Phase II of the project will involve the building of a new Senior School. The work will begin this Autumn and the move to the new Senior School will begin in September 2018.

Phases III and IV of the project will include the following:

  • Refurbishment of the Junior School building
  • Construction of a Sports hall and football/rugby field
  • Construction of a new reception area, library and art room
  • An underground car park
