Given the importance of a smooth and confident transition to Year 7, the Year 6 Transition Day went ahead at Runnymede College, albeit in small groups and wearing masks.
Our Year 6 pupils had the possibility to visit the Senior School in safe conditions with a tour by the Headmaster and meet their Year 7 teachers virtually.
Although not quite the same as would normally take place this time of year, the pupils have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to be taken on a tour of the Senior School premises and to get together one last time with their teachers and some of their classmates.
There is no doubt that next year’s Year 7 will be the most resilient Year 7 in Runnymede history! Congratulations, Year 6! We wish you all the best!
