Junior School Spelling Bee

There are possibly many adults who can’t spell words such as ‘masquerade’ or ‘collateral’ but the contestants in the KS2 Spelling Bee could.

Twenty four children from Years 4, 5 and 6 competed to win points for their respective houses. In the end Newton were the  overall winners and were awarded the trophy.

The standard was high and congratulations are in order for all the contestants but particularly for the twins, Íñigo and Santiago, who were joint winners in Year 6.
