Year Two performance of Panto Pandemonium

On Friday, 22nd November, Year Two delighted Runnymede families with their fantastic performance of Panto Pandemonium. This enchanting production was the perfect way to usher in the festive season, as it brought fairytale characters and pantomimes vividly to life! Ingeniously, the show was a play within a play, where a pantomime goes awry when the baddies steal the magic, preventing the beans in Jack and the Beanstalk from growing, the shoe in Cinderella from fitting, and the lamp in Aladdin from working.

A group of brave children ventures into Pantoland to defeat the baddies and restore the magic. What followed was a marvellous showcase of exceptional singing, captivating acting, and delightful dancing, featuring performances to Ain’t No Mountain High EnoughWhat Makes You Beautiful, and A Dream is a Wish. Naturally, the story concluded with the baddies recognising the error of their ways and embracing the importance of being good, kind, and helpful friends.

The Year 2 team extends their heartfelt thanks to the school community for supporting the children by helping them learn their lines, providing costumes, and attending the performance. We are immensely proud of the children for delivering such a sparkling spectacle, reminding us all of the enduring value of friendship.
