The first British secondary school in Spain, Runnymede College has a well-established and deserved reputation both for its world beating exam results and the renowned university destination of its leavers. Having worked at Runnymede for several years, these indicators of excellence continue to be important to me. Much more important and truly reflective of our school, however, are the intangible elements which together create our community. The kindness of our pupils and our sense of family; the enthusiasm of our Pupil Leadership Team, their eagerness to support others and raise money for charity; the passion and talent of our staff who work determinedly to ensure our pupils are supported, engaged and inspired.

There are no grades or awards to quantify these things, but together they create a unique environment within which personal successes and achievements can take place and children can thrive into independent individuals with a strong sense of themselves and the world around them.
