This morning, Runnymede College Prep School was delighted to welcome the Princeton University all-femme a cappella group to assembly. Known as the Princeton Tigressions, the 14 students were given a rapturous applause after each song, and we were all wowed by their perfect harmonies and angelic voices.

They played a range of songs including works written by Sia, Adele, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga. Afterwards, they were kind enough to answer questions about their singing, their tour of Spain and even about their lives at Princeton University.

Pupils were inspired, and I am sure that this could be the start of further applications to Princeton in years to come!
