TAKE A RUNNYMEDIAN TO WORK DAY

TAKE A RUNNYMEDIAN TO WORK DAY

Our Year 12s had a brilliant opportunity to visit various vibrant and interesting places of work last Thursday 27th (to coincide with ‘take a kid to work day’ in the US).

Many Old Runnymedians and contacts kindly gave up their time, welcomed our students into their working environments, imparted their wisdom and answered our students’ questions.

People and places our Runnymedians were fortunate enough to visit included:

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Madrid (with Monica Eisen)
Start-ups: Fever  (with Ignacio Bachiller Ströhlein ) and Cloumize  (with Alex Yitzhak Lerner )
DLA Piper  (Francisco Bachiller Ströhlein )
Dazia Capital (Victor del Rey)
EY  with (Yann Rougeot )
Amazon (with Elvira Ruiz de Alda )
RFS Architects (with Luis Rojo de Castro)
Hospital Universitario de la Princesa  (with DrJOSE MARIA SERRA LOPEZ-MATENCIO,  PhD
Social enterprise company Bridge for Billions  (with Paz Cuenca Villena )

All our students had an eye-opening experience that has certainly given them a taste of the working world, and food for thought regarding their future options.

We cannot thank all the inspirational participants enough!
