The construction of the new Prep School Building and the Frank Murphy Memorial Library was completed this summer, and it has been wonderful to see these new spaces come to life this term. The redesign of the entrance and outdoor areas, featuring cobbled pathways and beautifully landscaped gardens, has brought the school’s buildings closer together around a central square, creating a true campus atmosphere.
Prep School pupils and staff are enjoying bright new classrooms, labs, and music and drama spaces in a building designed to fill its spacious corridors and connecting stairwells with natural light.
The new library, with its wooden structure and glass-and-stone facade, now welcomes a steady flow of students seeking a quiet place for study and reflection on campus.
This marks the sixth phase of the Runnymede College Campus development project, led by Manuel Powell Rodriguez with architects ROJO FERNÁNDEZ-SHAW and project manager Javier Alonso Gutierrez, which will conclude with the development of new sports facilities next summer.
